How to make seviyan kher?

raw material:

*1 cup vermicelli noodles (sevienne)
* 1 liter of milk
* 1 cup jaggery powder
*2-3 green cardamom pods, crushed
* 1 tbsp ghee
* Handful of chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios)
* 2-3 strands of saffron (optional)

Recipe:

Step 1

Heat the ghee in a deep pan or pot. Add vermicelli to roast until golden brown. Stir constantly to prevent burns.

Step 2

Put milk in a pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the vermicelli is cooked and the milk is condensed.

Step 3

Add the jaggery powder to the pan and mix well until completely dissolved. Continue stirring until the chowder has thickened to your desired consistency.

Add crushed cardamom pods and saffron strands (if using) to a saucepan and mix well.

Tips:

*Use skimmed milk for a thicker, richer cream. But if you want to improve your health You can use skim milk as well and it will taste great too.
